Let’s Talk: Legislation and the Cultural War

    Info Session + Networking Event

Join McKay Cunningham, Director of the Master of Applied Public Policy Program at The College of Idaho, along with
local leaders and policymakers for a casual, networking event about the boundaries of lawmaking.

In small-group and one-on-one engaging conversations, we’ll explore questions like:

    • What is the value of laws that, for example, require the 10 Commandments to be posted in every public school?
    • What is about Idaho’s flag law that prohibits local government from flying the rainbow flag?
    • Are they wedge issues that obscure other legislation or are they important policies that reflect the will of the represented?

Whether you're a policy pro or just curious, this is your chance to ask questions about the MAPP program, share perspectives, and connect with others who care about law, leadership, and the future of governance in Idaho and the Intermountain West.

Don’t miss it—come for the conversation, stay for the community.
