The Elgin & Elaine Baylor Opportunity Fund provides scholarship support to students in the United States with limited opportunities and options for higher education. The Fund is designed to give recipients the same opportunity that Elgin received when he attended The College of Idaho in the form of a full tuition scholarship, renewable each year for four years of study at the College.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition to submitting the following form and answering the essay prompt, students must also file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Finally, all candidates for the Baylor Opportunity Fund Scholarship must have a letter of support from a teacher, counselor, or director of a college and career readiness program submitted on their behalf.
